A veteran with over twenty-two years of public accounting service, Mark specializes in auditing, accounting, internal controls, tax and financial planning. His experience has been with several industries, including high technology manufacturing and software, non-profit organizations, and mortgage banking. His practice at Abbott, Stringham & Lynch includes audit, tax and general business and accounting services primarily to small-to-medium-sized businesses.
Mark is the principal in charge of the Firm’s Sarbanes Oxley practice and has extensive experience analyzing and monitoring internal controls. His practice has also included management consulting, strategic planning, and profit enhancement consulting.
He is a member of the Firm’s executive committee and a principal in the Audit and Accounting Department. He is constantly involved in the strategic aspects of the Firm and has technical expertise in the areas of accounting, audit, and peer review. His department provides a full range of valuable accounting services including audits and reviews, financial statement preparation and computerized accounting system setups.
Mark holds a B.S. in Accounting with honors, and a Masters in Accountancy from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, he also holds a Certificate in Advanced Personal Financial Planning and is active in church and civic affairs.
